Arundel County do hereby certify and Attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Brice J. G. Worthington late of the county aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro Woman by the name of Nancy and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet one inch is about the age of thirty years, Black complexion, and was Freed by the last Will and testament of the said Brice J. G. Worthington dated the Twentieth day of April Eighteen hundred and twenty Six and was raised in Anne Arundel County Issued the 12.th day of November 1833 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg.r Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of James Baldwin late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro boy by the name of Tom or Thomas Baldwin and it being proved to my satisfaction that the Bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will, I do Certify that he is in height five feet six inches is about the age of twenty five years, mulatto complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said James Baldwin dated the twenty second day of December Eighteen hundred and nine and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on his right eye and cheek bone and has a white swelling on the right hip Issued the 31.st day of March 1834 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg.r Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and testament of Richard Wells late of the County aforesaid, deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Betty and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the Identical person as freed by said Will, I do Certify that she is in height five feet one inches is about the age of forty four years, dark complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Richard Wells dated the twenty third day of June eighteen hundred and twenty six and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar across her forehead and one on her right arm above the elbow Issued the 29.th day of May 1834 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg.r Wills A A County I Samuel Brown Jun.r Register of Wills for Anne Arundel County do hereby certify and attest that it appears from the last Will and Testament of Richard Weedon late of the County aforesaid deceased, that he did by his said Will Manumit Liberate and set Free a negro woman by the name of Ann Jacobs and it being proved to my satisfaction that the bearer hereof is the identical person as Freed by said Will, I do certify that she is in height five feet 3½ inches is about the age of thirty five years, Mulatto complexion, and was freed by the last Will and Testament of the said Richard Weedon dated the 12th day of September Eighteen hundred and twelve and was raised in Anne Arundel County and has a scar on the right elbow Issued the 10th day of June 1834 Sam.l Brown Jun.r Reg.r Wills A A County |
