501 On this first day of October 1851 before the subscriber a Justice of the peace of the state of Maryland in and for said county personally appeared the within mentioned James Iglehart grantee in the foregoing instrument of writing and made oath that the consideration set forth in the same is true and bona fide as therein set forth Sworn to before J. W. Hunter Anne Arundel County to wit Received this day one dollar for stamp duty on this Instrument agreeably to the act of Assembly of December session 1846 chap 61. Given under my hand this first day of October A. D. 1851 Recorded October 1st 1851 Jos: H. Nicholson Ex d d d costs .75
presents the receipt whereof I the said Thomas Baldwin do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Robert Plummer his executors administrators and assigns all the articles hereinafter particularly mentioned that is to say all my interest in Crop Tobacco Corn and wheat raised on Mrs Sarah E. Woods farm in the year 1851 all and singular which said Crop of Tobacco now hanging in one of Mrs Sarah E. Woods Barns and the corn yet in the field and now in the possession of the said Thomas Balden. To have and to hold all and singular the said goods or crops of Tobacco corn and what and other the pertinances above bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Robert Plummer his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Thomas Balden for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said crops and other the premises unto the said Robert Plummer his executors administrators and assigns against me the said Thomas Balden my executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and defend by these presents of all and singular which said crops of Tobacco corn and wheat and other the premises I said Thomas Balden have put the said Robert Plummer in full possession by delivering to him the said Robert Plummer one Bushell wheat at the sealing of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned and intended so to be unto him the said Robert Plummer as aforesaid. In witness whereof I have hereunto subscribed my name and affixed my seal this first day of October in the year of Our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty one. |
