or purpose whatsoever  And I the said George F Worthington for myself
my executors administrators and heirs do hereby warrant the said
negro man Moses to be sound and healthy in mind and body and
a slave for life and further I will and ^hereby^ do warrant and forever
defend the said negro man by these presents unto the said
James Iglehart his executors administrators or assigns against
me the said George F Worthington my executors and administrators
and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever
claiming or to claim any right title or Interest in the same In
Witness whereof we the said parties hereto of the first part have
hereunto affixed our hands and seals this Twenty second day of
February Eighteen hundred and fifty

State of Maryland Anne Arundel County To wit   On this 26th
day of February Eighteen hundred and fifty before the subscriber
a Justice of the peace of the State of Maryland in and for
said County personally appeared the above named Alexander
Randall (he being personally known to me to be one of the persons
named and described as and Professing to be one of the parties grantors
in said Instrument of writing and acknowledged the same to be his
act and deed, And at the same time also appeared the within named
James Iglehart party grantee in said Instrument of writing and
made oath that the consideration stated and set forth in the same
is true and Bonafide   Acknowledged and sworn Before

District of Columbia Washington County Sct   Be it remembered
and it is hereby certified that on this the 22d day of Feby Anno
Domini Eighteen hundred and fifty personally appeared before
the subscriber a Justice of the peace in & for the County aforesaid
Richd J Bowie and George F Worthington the party grantors
above named they being known to me to be true of the persons
named and described as and professing to be two of the parties
grantors in said Instrument of writing and severally acknowledged
the same to be his act and deed    "George F Worthington Inserted

       Taken and Certified by T C Donn J. P

District of Columbia Washington County To wit   I Jno A Smith
clerk of the Circuit Court for the County and District aforesaid
hereby certify that T. C. Donn before whom the aforegoing
acknowledgment was made and who has subscribed his name
