328 Brice J Worthington for the purpose of Making provision for the payment of his just debts did grant bargain sell and convey unto the said Brice T. B. Worthington his heirs executors administrators and assigns all the real and personal property and all the right effects and credits belonging to or owned by the said Brice J. Worthington in Anne Arundel County or elsewhere in the state of Maryland and all the right title interest and estate of the said Brice J Worthington at law or in equity therein or thereto in trust to dispose of and apply to the payment and discharge of all just claims and demands whatsoever against the said Brice J Worthington and according to their several and respective priorities so far as such priorities shall have attached at the time of executing these presents; and also in payment of all other just claims and demands whatsoever and further as to any surplus to pay over the same to the said Brice J Worthington his executors administrators or assigns which trusts were by decree of the Court of Chancery of the twenty fifth day of January eighteen hundred and forty nine directed to be carried into execution and the said Brice J. Worthington among other things was directed to proceed forthwith to collect the debts due and owing to the said Brice J. Worthington and assigned to the said Brice T. B. Worthington by the Deed aforesaid: and whereas the said Brice J. Worthington and the said Charles F. Worthington executed on the eighteenth day of December eighteen hundred and forty seven a joint and several obligation payable six month after date to John Glenn administrator of Elizabeth Bowie of the sum of one hundred and twenty dollars and sixteen cents forty four dollars and sixteen cents of said amount being due and owing for the said Charles F Worthington And whereas for the accommodation of the said Charles F Worthington the said Brice J endorsed a note drawn payable to him the said Brice J by the said Charles F dated on the eighteenth day of March eighteen hundred and forty eight payable twelve months after date for the sum of three hundred and forty six dollars and thirty two cents payable and negotiable at the Farmers Bank of Maryland which said sum of money being due and owing from the said Charles F Worthington to one James Iglehart of the City of Annapolis the said note was thus endorsed by the said Brice J for the purpose of raising the amount by discount at the Farmers Bank of Maryland and whereas the said Brice J Worthington and the said Charles F. Worthington have executed their joint and several bond or obligation to J W and E Reynolds for the sum of two hundred dollars due and owing from the said Charles F Worthington and of which the said Brice J is surety And whereas the said brice J and the said Charles F have united jointly and severally with one Nicholas B Worthington is divers bonds and obligations executed to secure the several sums of money therein respectively mentioned owing and due from the said Nicholas B. Worthington and of which the said Charles and Brice J are sureties jointly and equally for the said Nicholas B. Worthington which said Bonds or obligations are as follows: one payable to Mrs Mary Claytor or order for us hundred dollars twelve months after date and dated on the tenth day of February eighteen hundred and forty six two appeal bonds dated the twenty sixth day of April eighteen |
