third day of December in the year 1857 as a stray trespassing upon his enclosures a grey mare about ten years old fourteen hands high with one shoe on the left fore foot switch tail trots and gallops and has been used in gears Given under my hand Wm A. Loder J. Peace To W W Watkins Clerk of Howard County Received to be recorded on the 23rd day of Decr 1857. Same day Recorded and Examined per
at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Ann Iglehart do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Richard Iglehart Jr his executors administrators and assigns all the goods chattels and implements thus herein after expressed or particularly mentioned that is to say one negro woman Ann aged nineteen years one negro Boy Jim aged four years four horses one yoke of oxen six hed of cattle eighteen hogs thirteen sheep two colts and all my farming utentials all & singular which said goods and chattles are now by me the said Ann Iglehart delivered to the said Richard Iglehart Jr. To have and to hold all and singular the said goods and chattles and other the premises above bargained and sold or mentioned or intended so to be the said Richard Iglehart Jr his executors administrators and assigns forever and I the said Ann Iglehart for myself my heirs executors and administrators all and singular the said goods and chattles and premises unto the said Richard Iglehart his executors administrators and assings against me the said Ann Iglehart my executors Administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend |
