221 State of Maryland Howard County to wit: Be it remembered and it hereby certify that on fourteenth day of February Eighteen hundred and fifty seven personally appears Ann Iglehart before me the subscriber as Justice of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for Howard County and acknowledge the foregoing deed of Manumission to be her act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof and I hereby certify the said Ann Iglehart is known to me of my own knowledge to be the person who is named and described as and professing to be the party thereto. In testimony whereof I have hereunto subscribed the day and year aforesaid R. C. Nicholson J. P. Received to be recorded on the 17.th day of February 1857 same day recorded & exam.d per W. H. Hazleman of County & State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that the said Milly Turner hath placed and bound out by these presents doth place and bind our her son Isaiah Turner who on the seventh day of January next will be of the age of twenty years as an apprentice to the said Conrad Hazleman to learn the art trade and mystery of a farmer after the manner of an apprentice the said Isaiah Turner to dwell with and serve the said Conrad Hazleman from the date of these presents until the seventh day of January in the year one thousand eight hundred and fifty nine when the said Isaiah Turner shall attain the age of twenty one years during all which time the said Isaiah Turner shall the said Conrad Hazleman well and faithfully serve in all such lawful business as the said Isaiah Turner shall be put unto by his said master according to the power and ability of him the said Isaiah Turner and honestly and obediently in all things shall behave himself towards his said master and honestly and orderly towards the rest of the family of the said Conrad Hazleman And the said Conrad Hazleman on his part doth covenant and agree to pay or cause to be paid unto the said Milly Turner the |
