203 County appears Ann Iglehart and acknowledges the above Instrument of writing to be her act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof And at the same time appeared before me William Hughes the grantee in the said Bill of Sale named and made oath that the consideration set forth in said Bill of Sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Ignatius Waters J Peace Received to be recorded on the 18th day of November 1856 same day recorded & exam.d per W. said Cornelius Mercer the following property to wit one bay Horse thirteen years old with a white spot in her forehead & one bay Horse twelve years old; one red and white Cow; one red Steer; five Hogs; one brood Sow, ten Shoats; one cone horse wagon; one barshear Plow; two Shovel Plows; one Cultivator; All my Crop of wheat growing; all my Crop of Corn in the fields; one fodder house; and shacks and also all my household and Kitchen furniture of every kind and description All which goods and chattels are now in my possession and I hereby covenant that the said Cornelius mercer his heirs or assigns shall and may at any time hereafter enter upon my premises and peaceably take and carry away any and all the above mentioned property without any hindrance or interruption by me or by any other person through my procurement Witness my hand and seal this eighteenth day of November Eighteen hundred and fifty six his Witness William x Streaker (seal) Reuben Warfield mark Joshua Burgess State of Maryland Howard County Sct I hereby certify that on this eighteenth day of November in the year Eighteen hundred and fifty six before the subscriber a justice of the peace for Howard County aforesaid personally appeared William |
