employees and employees of the following agencies: judicial service employees,
State's Attorney employees and the Harford County Sheriff's Office; to further
provide for new position plans and salary grades for County classified and
exempt employees; all in accordance with Section 603 of the Charter; and to
provide that this act shall not be codified in the Harford County Code.

AN ACT to repeal and reenact, with amendments, Sections 1.7, Definitions, 5.6,
Maximum Limitation on Benefits, and 6.4, Eligible Rollover Distributions, as
incorporated by reference in Chapter 29, Harford County Sheriff's Office
Pension, of Part I, Administrative Legislation, of the Harford County Code, as
amended; to provide for the adoption by reference of the Sheriff's Office Pension
Plan, as amended, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference in its entirety; and to further provide that the Sheriff's Office Pension
Plan, as amended, is made a part hereof as though fully stated herein; and
generally relating to the establishment of a pension plan for certain law
enforcement and correctional employees of the Sheriff's Office.

AN ACT to add new section 123-43.4.1, Tax Credit for Surviving Spouse of Fire,
Rescue or Emergency Medical Service Personnel, to Article II, Real Property Tax
Credits, of Chapter 123, Finance and Taxation, of the Harford County Code, as
amended; to provide a tax exemption for surviving spouses of a fallen rescue
worker under certain conditions, and generally relating to the provision of a tax
credit.
