[(e)] (F) If a boiler or pressure vessel for which a certificate was issued based
on the report of a special inspector ceases to be insured by an authorized insurer, the
certificate is invalid.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That, subject to § 2-1246 of
the State Government Article, the Department of Labor, Licensing, and Regulation
shall report to the House Economic Matters Committee and the Senate Education,
Health, and Environmental Affairs Committee
on or before December 1, 2004, on its
progress in reducing the number of overdue boiler inspections.

SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect July 1, 2004.

AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - Unpaid Hotel Rental Tax - Liens

FOR the purpose of making unpaid hotel rental tax in Garrett County a lien against
•certain real and personal property; authorizing the collection of unpaid hotel
rental tax in Garrett County in a certain manner; and generally relating to
unpaid hotel rental tax in Garrett County.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

Section 9-325

Annotated Code of Maryland

(2001 Replacement Volume and 2003 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article 24 - Political Subdivisions - Miscellaneous Provisions

9-325.

Unpaid hotel rental tax in a code county, Cecil County, Charles County,
Dorchester County, GARRETT COUNTY, Somerset County, Talbot County, Washington
County, and Wicomico County is a lien against the real and personal property of the
person owing the tax and is collectible in the same manner as the property tax may be
collected under the Tax - Property Article.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 2004.
