Ch. 535 2002 LAWS OF MARYLAND
(e) A member may not receive compensation for serving on the Committee, but
is entitled to reimbursement for expenses under the Standard State Travel
Regulations, as provided in the State budget.
(f) The Committee shall implement a recommendation of the Governor's Task
Force on Upgrading Sewerage Systems by advising local jurisdictions on the efficient
operation and financial management of wastewater treatment systems.
(g) The Committee shall report to the State Advisory Council on Water Security
and Sewerage Systems on or before November 1 of each year.
SECTION 2. 3. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take
effect October 1, 2002. It Section 1 of this Act shall remain effective for a period of 3
years and, at the end of September 30, 2005, with no further action required by the
General Assembly, Section 1 of this Act shall be abrogated and of no further force and
effect. Approved May 16, 2002.
CHAPTER 535
(House Bill 662) AN ACT concerning Task Force to Study the Economic Development of the Maryland Seafood
Industry and Aquaculture Industries FOR the purpose of establishing a Task Force to Study the Economic Development of
the Maryland Seafood Industry and Aquaculture Industries; specifying the
membership and duties of the Task Force, certain workgroups, and a certain
executive committee; prohibiting a member from participating in certain Task
Force or workgroup functions under a certain circumstance; prohibiting a
member from receiving certain compensation, and authorizing the
reimbursement of certain expenses; providing for the staffing of the Task Force
and certain workgroups; requiring the Task Force to meet with a certain
frequency; prohibiting a member from participating in certain Task Force
activities under a certain circumstance; requiring the Task Force to issue a
certain report to the Governor and certain committees of the General Assembly
on or before a certain date; providing for the termination of this Act; and
generally relating to the establishment of a Task Force to Study the Economic
Development of the Maryland Seafood Industry and Aquaculture Industries. SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That: (a) There is a Task Force to Study the Economic Development of the Maryland
Seafood Industry and Aquaculture Industries. (b) The Task Force consists of the following members;
