(2) 6 months after the date that the money is collected, if the law does
not specify a date for the revenue officer to make payment.
8-522.
(b) (1) A person may not use, sell, or send or deliver to another, with the
intent to induce the payment of a claim, a document that:
(i) simulates a summons, complaint, or other court process of any
kind; or
(ii) implies that the person is a part of or associated with a unit of
the federal government or a unit of [a State or] THE STATE OR A COUNTY OR
municipal government.
(2) With intent to induce the payment of a claim, a person may not use a
seal, insignia, envelope, or any other form that simulates the seal, insignia, envelope,
or form of any governmental unit.
SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2002.

(House Bill 199)
AN ACT concerning
Criminal Law - Homicide, Life-Threatening Injury, and Reckless
Endangerment
FOR the purpose of correcting certain matters identified during statutory revision;
providing statutory charging documents for homicide by motor vehicle or vessel
while under the influence of alcohol per se, life-threatening injury by motor
vehicle or vessel while under the influence of alcohol per se, and reckless
endangerment; making conforming and stylistic changes; clarifying the meaning
of the term "crime of violence" for purposes of describing conduct that is not
criminal reckless endangerment; and generally relating to homicide,
life-threatening injury, and reckless endangerment.
BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 2-507, 3-204(c), 3-206, and 3-212
Annotated Code of Maryland
