Resolution No. R99-02
(Annexation No. A99-01 - Route 219 North Annexation)
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 19(b) of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, the Mayor and Town Council of Oakland have initiated this Resolution to
enlarge the corporate boundaries of the Town by annexation of land adjoining and
contiguous to the existing corporate boundaries, and being the area known as the
Route 219 North Annexation, as is depicted in detail on a Plat dated October 13, 1998,
as revised January 20, 1999, prepared by Morgan C. France, surveyor. (202.16 acres
ofland, more or less)

Resolution No. R99-09
(Amending Resolution No. R99-02)
WHEREAS, by clerical error the description of the property to be annexed in
Resolution No. R99-02 was, in part, incorrect; and
WHEREAS, the Plat attached to Resolution No. R99-02 was correct and showed
the correct annexation; and
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Town Council wish to conform the metes and bounds
description to the Plat, so that the metes and bounds description is correct;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE MAYOR AND TOWN
COUNCIL OF OAKLAND, MARYLAND, AS FOLLOWS:
The metes and bounds description contained in Resolution No. R99-02 is hereby
amended, as set forth below; the language which is stricken through is deleted, and
the language which is in bold is added. (192.25 acres of land, more or less)
