Ch. 603
(6) the public transportation system for Washington County established
under § 1-603 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Washington County, Article 22 of
the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland; [or] (7) the public transportation system for Allegany County established
under § 23-24 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Allegany County, Article 1 of the
Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland; OR (8) THE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SYSTEM FOR FREDERICK COUNTY
ESTABLISHED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS FOR FREDERICK
COUNTY. (c) The public duties of a common carrier may not be imposed on a person
with respect to a vehicle for which a motor carrier permit is required under this
section, if the vehicle is not actually engaged in public transportation. SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 2000. Approved May 18, 2000.
CHAPTER 603
(House Bill 456) AN ACT concerning Estates and Trusts - Personal Representatives, Trustees, and Fiduciaries -
Donation of Conservation Easement FOR the purpose of authorizing a personal representative to donate a conservation
easement on real property under certain circumstances; authorizing certain
trustees or fiduciaries to donate a conservation easement on real property or
consent to a donation of a conservation easement on real property by the
personal representative of an estate under certain circumstances; providing
certain immunity from civil liability to a personal representative, trustee, or a
fiduciary as a result of a donation of a conservation easement on real property

under certain circumstances; defining a certain term; providing for the
application of this Act; and generally relating to donations of conservation
easements on real property by a personal representative, trustee, or fiduciary
under certain circumstances. BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Section 7-401(a) and 15-102(a)
Annotated Code of Maryland (1991 Replacement Volume and 1999 Supplement)
