Zoning - Surface Mining
For the purpose of amending the zoning regulations to establish standards for surface
mining activities in general and to describe the actions of the Board of Zoning Appeals
relative to surface mines.

AN ACT Concerning
Zoning - Right to Farm Law
For the purpose of protecting the right to farm and to engage in agricultural or
forestry operations; to provide for persons who engage in agricultural or forestry
operations to be immune from private nuisance actions involving agricultural or
forestry operations in certain circumstances; to establish an Agricultural
Reconciliation Board to arbitrate disputes involving agricultural or forestry
operations; to require a person claiming a nuisance involving agricultural or forestry
operations to seek and obtain relief from the Agricultural Reconciliation Board and
the Board of Zoning Appeals; to require a person claiming a nuisance to pay
reasonable expenses, including attorney fees, in certain circumstances and providing
for certain notices relating thereto; and generally relating to the authority of the
County Commissioners to protect agricultural or forestry operations in Worcester
County.
