A Resolution Of The Council Of The Town Of Mount Airy To Enlarge The
Corporate Boundaries Of The Town Of Mount Airy By Annexing Thereto 1.5511 Acres
Of Land, More Or Less, In The Mount Airy Election District Of Carroll County,
Maryland, Located Along The Easterly Side Of North Main Street (Md. Rt. 808) And
The Westerly Side Of Md. Route 27. The Property To Be Annexed Being More
Particularly Described By Metes And Bounds On Exhibit A Attached Hereto And A
Plat Of Annexation Prepared By Van Mar Associates, Inc., Dated January, 1998, A
Copy Of Which Is Incorporated Herein By Reference As Exhibit B And Which Is On
File At The Town Hall.

A RESOLUTION OF THE MAYOR AND TOWN COUNCIL OF MTN. LAKE PARK,
MARYLAND, ADOPTED PURSUANT TO THE AUTHORITY OF ARTICLE XI-E OF
THE CONSTITUTION OF THE STATE OF MARYLAND (1955, CHAPTER 423) AND
PURSUANT TO AND IN CONFORMANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF ARTICLE
23A SECTION 13 OF THE ANNOTATED CODE OF MARYLAND (1996
REPLACEMENT VOLUME) TO AMEND CHAPTER 26, SECTION 51, OF THE
CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF GARRETT COUNTY, KNOWN AS THE MTN.
LAKE PARK CHARTER, SAID SECTION BEING ENTITLED "AUTHORITY TO
EMPLOY PERSONNEL."

BE IT RESOLVED, by the Mayor and Town Council of Mtn. Lake Park that
Section 54 of Chapter 26 of the Code of Public Local Laws of Garrett County, 1971
Edition, known as the Mtn. Lake Park Charter, as adopted by Resolution on
December 15, 1964, and entitled "Authority to Employ Personnel" be amended.
