AN ACT concerning ,

Garrett County - Election Districts

FOR the purpose of establishing that the boundaries of the 16 election districts of Garrett
County shall be as described in maps prepared under the supervision of the Board
of Supervisors of Elections of Garrett County and filed by the Board in the land
records of the County by a certain date; ratifying the results of previous elections
conducted in the County using those boundaries; repealing specified descriptions of
elections districts from the Public Local Laws of Garrett County; and generally
relating to the boundaries of election districts in Garrett County.

Section 31-1 through 31-15, inclusive

Article 12 - Public Local Laws of Maryland

BY adding to

The Public Local Laws of Garrett County

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That: Section(s) 31-1 through 31-15. inclusive, of Article 12 - Garrett
County of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland be repealed.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED. That the Laws of Maryland
read as follows:

(a)) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, the boundaries of the 16 election
districts of Garrett County shall be as provided on maps;

(1) prepared under the supervision of the Board of Supervisors of Elections
of Garrett County; and

(2) filed by the Board, not later than June 1, 1997, in the land records of
Garrett County.
