office as State's Attorney; providing that this Act does not apply to the salary or
compensation of the incumbent County Treasurer, Sheriff, and Orphans' Court
Judges for Frederick County during the terms of offices as County Treasurer,
Sheriff, and Orphans' Court Judges for Frederick County; and generally relating to
the salaries and compensation of public officials in Frederick County.

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF

(a) The State's Attorneys in the several counties of the State shall receive
annually the respective salaries set forth for performing the duties required of them by
their respective public local laws and by the public general laws, and such expenses as are
