AMENDMENTS TO SENATE BILL 160/HOUSE BILL 160
(First Reading File Bill)

Amendment No. 1:

On page 14, beginning in line 38 and ending on page 15 in line 6, strike the words
"to" through "1997" and substitute the words "is to be transferred from the General Fund
to the Transportation Trust Fund in accordance with Section 9, Chapter 204 of the Acts
of 1993".

Amendment No. 2:

On page 34, in line 18, following the word "budgets", add the words "and
authorizations for capital projects"; and in line 20, following the word "use", add the
words "an amount not to exceed $1,500,000 of; and in line 22 after "program" insert
"provided, however, that authorizations for capital projects may not provide more than
$1,000,000 for this purpose".

Amendment No. 3:

On page 57, beginning in line 19 and ending in line 20, strike the words
"Departments" through "and" and substitute the words "Department of.

Amendment No. 4:

On page 58, in line 14, strike the words "Department of and substitute the words
"Departments of Natural Resources and"; and in line 15, strike the word "budget" and
substitute the word "budgets".

Amendment No. 5:

On page 73, in line 1, strike the words "CARE ACCESS AND COST
COMMISSION" and substitute the words "REGULATORY COMMISSIONS".

Amendment No. 6:

On page 118, beginning in line 26 and ending in line 27, strike the words "and"
through "Services".

Amendment No. 7:

On page 120, in line 8, strike the word "Personnel," and substitute the word "and";
and in line 9, strike the words "and" through "Hygiene".

Amendment No. 8:

On page 133, in line 13, strike the words "Care Access and Cost Commission" and
substitute the words "Regulatory Commissions".

On page 133, in line 13, delete "Health Care Access and Cost Commission", and
substitute "Health Services Cost Review Commission".
