Ch. 13

It is the intent of the General Assembly that
no further special library assistance be
provided for Prince George's County
libraries after fiscal 1997. The increase in
the State assistance for public libraries
provided by HB 43 of the 1996 session
should help offset any fiscal impact
incurred by Prince George's County in the
future. Further, it is the intent of the
General Assembly that library funding be
based on the State assistance to public
libraries formula in accordance with
Section 23-403 of the Education Article
