(d) Except as otherwise provided in this title, an applicant shall be a high school
graduate or have completed equivalent education and have completed satisfactorily:

(1) An electrology education program, taught by a licensed electrology
instructor, that is approved under this title and that includes:

(i) Instruction in the theory of electrology of:

2. At least 95 hours for a license granted on or after July 1, 1991
and before July 1, 1992; AND

6-306.

(a)     Subject to the provisions of this section, an individual who held an
[electrologist] ELECTROLOGIST'S license or an electrology [instructor] INSTRUCTOR'S
license that was issued by the State Board of Cosmetologists and that was valid on June
30, 1978, is entitled to a license under this title without examination.

Error: Grammatical errors in § 6-306(a) of the Health Occupations Article.

Occurred: Ch. 8, Acts of 1981.

6-307.

(b)     The Board shall include on each license that the Board issues a license
designation as:

(1)     An [electrologist] ELECTROLOGIST'S license; or

(2)     An electrology [instructor] INSTRUCTOR'S license.
