S.B. 810 VETOES In order to assure compliance with federal laws governing wages, hours, and Subtitle 5. Maryland Job Training Partnership Act. 11-501. This subtitle may be referred to as the "Maryland Job Training Partnership Act". 11-502. (a) It is State policy to coordinate all the resources available from federal, State (b) It is the State's goal to assist its citizens in obtaining gainful employment and (1) preparing unskilled youth and adults who are economically (2) retraining those who have lost jobs and who must upgrade or replace (3) providing training and related services to increase the employability of (c) It is also the State's goal to develop a well trained productive work force which (1) developing and ensuring maximum utilization of timely statewide labor (2) linking employment and training services with economic development (3) providing enhanced employment and training capabilities specially (4) . encouraging and initiating innovative employment and training 11-503. (a) In this subtitle the definitions set forth in § 4 of the federal act shall apply; - 3984 -
