AN ACT concerning
State Personnel - Baltimore City Jail and, Community College of Baltimore, and Blind
Industries and Services of Maryland
FOR the purpose of permitting certain classified service employees of the former
Baltimore City Jail and the Community College of Baltimore to utilize certain years
of service as employees of the City of Baltimore to determine certain benefits under
the State Personnel Management System; requiring the amount of annual leave of
certain employees to be recomputed and credited to the employees in a certain
manner; providing for the effective date of this Act changing the name of the
Maryland Vending Facilities Program for the Blind to the Maryland Business Enterprise
Program for the Blind; clarifying the status of certain former employees of Blind
Industries and Services of Maryland; and generally relating to employees of the
former Baltimore City Jail and the Community College of Baltimore and former
employees of Blind Industries and Services of Maryland.
