52. January 1848 before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for said County and state personally appeared Elizabeth H. Roberson Adm.x afs.d and Acknowledged the above Bill of sale or instrument of writing to be her Act and deed according to the true intent and meaning thereof. Acknowledged before Robert Bell J.P. Dorchester County Sct. on the eighth day of January 1848 then came before me a Justice of the Peace in and for said County Josiah Carroll and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the within Bill of sale is bona fide as therein set forth. Sworn before Robert Bell J. P. Certificate of Negroes Be it remembered that the following Certificate 50 by Ex.d of Negroes was recorded January 8.th 1848, To wit: Outerbridge H. Neal State of Maryland Dorchester County, To wit I hereby Certify that being seized and possessed of certain Negro slaves that is to say a woman called Charlotte Roach aged about thirty five years and a Boy called Toy Fisher aged about twenty years and being desirous to remove and bring the said Negroes from the state of Delaware into this state on my own Land for my use and benefit and not for sale do make out his Certificate of the said negro slaves agreeably to the Act of Assembly in such case made and provided. Witness my hand and seal this 8.th day of January 1848. Test Robert Bell Outerbridge H. Neal (Seal) Dorchester County, To wit: On the 8.th day of January 1848 the above named Outerbridge H. Neal appeared before me the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace in and for the County aforesaid and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of God that he is a citizen of the state of Maryland and that the above is a true and correct list of the said Negro slaves and that he hath not removed the said Negroes into this state for the purpose of sale and that they are slaves for life to the best of his knowledge. Roberson, have granted, bargained & sold and by these presents do grant, bargain and sell unto the said Elizabeth H.
