394 me the said John E Roszell my Executors and administrators and against all and every other person or persons whatsoever shall and will warrant and forever defend by these presents of all and singular which said property and other the premises I the said John E Roszell have put the said William Roszell in full possession by delivering to him the said William Roszell one table spoon at the sealing and delivering of these presents in the name of the whole premises hereby bargained and sold or mentioned or intended to be so unto him the said William Roszell as aforesaid In witness whereof I have hereto set my hand and seal this Eighth day of January in the year of our Lord Eighteen Hundred and fifty two Signed Sealed & delivered in John E. Roszell (Seal) Presence of James Rea State of Maryland Dorchester County st Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that on this Eighth day of January A D 1852 before the subscriber one of the Justices of the Peace of the State of Maryland in and for the County aforesaid personally appears John E Roszell he being known to me to be the person who is named and described as and profesing to be a party to the foregoing Bill of sale or indenture and doth acknowledge the said Bill of sale or instrument of writing to bee his act and deed And at the same time and place also appeared before me William Roszell the grantee in the said bill ^of sale^ named and made oath that the Consideration set forth in the said Bill of sale is true and bona fide as therein set forth Sworn to & Acknowledged before James Rea William Mobray Be it remembered and it is hereby certified that Exd from the following bill of sale was received and John W Mobray recorded on the twenty fourth of January 1852 to wit Know all men by these presents that I John W Mobray of Dorchester County and State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of One Hundred and ninety six dollars current money to me in hand paid by William Mobray of Dorchester County and state of Maryland have granted bargained and sold by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the Said William Mobray his heirs and assigns the following property to wit one Bay mare Kit one Bay Mare puss one bay colt chester 2 Cows 2 heifers 2 Calves & Shoats 1 sow and five pigs 2 sheep one horse Cart & gear one pair of wheels 3 ploughs 2 harrows 2 barrels of Corn more or less Eight hundred pounds of pork more or less 2 Axes |
