168. Samuel Corner Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale Ex.d from 55 was recorded on the 3.d day of April 1849, To wit: W.m Luttman & Know all men by these presents that I William James Mowbray Luttman and Ja.s Mowbray of Dorchester County Paid and state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of one hundred and fifteen dollars and 44 cts to them in hand paid by Samuel Corner of said County & State aforesaid, have granted, bargained & sold, and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell unto the said Samuel Corner and his heirs and Assigns forever, All that Vessel, Schooner or Craft, together with all her Tackling & riging, anchor, skiff, and all the appertenances belonging to the said Vessel, of whatsoever description as she now stands. To have and to hold the said Vessel, with all her appertenances unto the said Samuel Corner, his heirs and Assigns forever, to his & their only use, sole use & uses forever, and to and for no other use, intent or purpose. In Witness whereof we have hereunto subscribed our names and affixed our seals this 3d day of April in the year of Eighteen hundred & forty nine. Signed, sealed & delivered in the James Mobray (seal) presence of Sam.l Abbott William Luttmann (seal) State of Maryland, Dorchester County On this 3d day of April Eighteen hundred & forty nine, personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace for said state & County, James Mowbray & W.m Luttmann and acknowledge the foregoing instrument of writing to be their Act & deed And at the same time appears Sam.l Corner, grantee in the said instrument, and made Oath on the Holy Evangely of Almighty God that the consideration mentioned in the said instrument is true and bona fide as set forth in said instrument. P. 1849 Jan 25 Deld to Saml Corner William Robinson Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale Ex.d from 80 was recorded on the 5.th day of April 1849, To wit: Henry Bibby This Indenture made this Nineteenth day of March in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred and forty nine, between Henry Bibby of Dorchester County and State of Maryland of the one part, and William Robinson of the County and state aforesaid of the other part Whereas the said William Robinson, buy Indenture of Mortgage bearing date on the seventh day of April in the year of Our Lord Eighteen hundred & forty five duly executed, acknowledged & recorded among the Land records of Dorchester County Court Liber W. I. N.o 2 folio 289 & 290 did, for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred & twenty six dollars, current money, grant, bargain, sell, enfeoff & confirm unto the said |
