52 Election District no 5 in all things appertaining thereto, & shall also well and truly account for all money placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise of sull force and virtue in law Signed sealed and delivered in the presence of his Ezekiel + Fitzhugh Zebulon Booze (seal) mark his his Hugh + Wingate (seal) Jonathan + Paul mark mark Dorchester county to wit On the 24 day of January 1843 personally appeared before me the subscriber a Justice of the peace in and for the county aforesaid Ezekiel Fitzhugh and Jonathan Paul and made the following oath to wit "We Ezekiel Fitzhugh and Jonathan Paul subscribing witnesses to the above bond do make oath that Zebulon Booze and Hugh Wingate obligors mentioned in the said bond, did severally in our pressence sign seal and deliver the said bond as their act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned." Sworn before me on the day above mentioned 24 day of January 1843 Richard Pattison Ann E. Sullivan Be it remembered that the following Ex.d from Bill of sale was recorded on 25th Jany William Thomas anno domini 1843 to wit Know all men by these presents that I William Thomas of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of eighty three dollars current money to me in hand paid by Ann E Sullivan of aforesaid County and State above Mentioned at and before the sealing and delivering of these presents the receipt whereof I the said William Thomas do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and sold and by these presents do grant bargain and sell unto the said Ann E Sullivan her executors administrators and assigns all the following property to wit one ox cart one Bay mare one Broken horn stears one young steare which with Black round his neck and head one Brindle cow with white back about eight years old one young Brindle cow with white Back one young white cow with red about the neck all and singular which said property are now on the farm owned by Jonathan Hurlock and near Wrights mill in the aforesaid County and state above mentioned and now in the occupation of the said Delivered April 17 1848 to Alg Thomas |
