me the subscriber one of the Justices of the peace for Dorchester
county James Ratcliff party to the within indenture and
acknowledged the same to be his act and deed and the
property therein mentioned and thereby bargained
and sold to be the right and tital of the within named
William Frazier & John Spedden their heirs and assigns
forever to their sole use and uses forever according to the true
intent and meaning of the same Deed and the acts of
assembly in such case made and provided

Tho J. H. Eccleston      Be it remembered that the following
Ex.d      from                bill of sale was recorded on 14th
William Bestpitch         Jany anno domini 1843 to wit
Know all men by these presents that I William Bespitch
of Dorcheser county maryland for and in consideration
of one dollar to me in hand paid by Thomas J H
Eccleston of the county and state aforesaid at and before
the sealing and delivery of this instrument the receipt
whereof I do hereby acknowledge have granted bargained and
sold and do hereby grant bargain and sell to teh said Thomas
J H. Eccleston his executors administrators and assigns all the
following property to wit one yoke of oxen and cart; 3 head of horses 18 head
of cattle old and young 27 heads of sows shoats & pigs 14 head of sheep
twenty barrells of corn one thousand weight of pork three thousand
weight of blades three ploughs two harrows and plough gear thirty
nine bushels of wheat seeded on teh farm and all the rough
porender on the land all whcih property is now in my possession
To have and to hold the same described property above bargained
& sold to the said THomas J.H. Eccleston his heirs and assigns forever
and for his and their only proper use and benifit and I the
sd William Bestpitch for my self my executors and administrators
shall and will warrant and forever defend by these
presents to teh s.d Eccleston and his assigns all the sd described
property agst me my heirs & assigns and against all other
persons whomsoever claiming the same or any part thereof
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand & seal
this 14th of January 1843
