P. Algernon Hurley Be it remembered that the following Bill of Sale was Ex.d from recorded on the 5.th day of January 1846, To wit: Henry C. Elbert Know all men by these presents that I Henry C. Elbert of Dorchester County in the State of Maryland for and in consideration of the sum of Fifty five dollars current money to me in hand paid by Algernon Hurley of the same County and state aforesaid at and before the sealing & delivery of these presents the receipt whereof I the said Henry C. Elbert do hereby acknowledge, have granted, bargained & sold and by these presents do grant, bargain & sell unto the said Algernon Hurley, his executors, administrators and Assigns all the goods, household stuff, implements & furniture particularly mentioned, expressed and contained hereinafter particularly mentioned that is to say, one Side board, one Bureau, one Secretary, one Setter, one large Clock, six Chairs, one Carpet, Two Beds, one Bedstead & furniture, one Looking Glass, Two Trunks & Contents, Two Chests & Contents, one Mahogany Table, one pine Table, Shovel & Tongs and all the balance of my household and kitchen furniture, implements, and stuff that are now in the possession of Levin Woollen; all and singular which said goods & chattels are now remaining, standing & being in a certain Messuage or tenement situate in Dorchester County and now in the occupancy of the said Levin Woollen To have and to hold all and singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture and other the premises above bargained & sold or mentioned and intended so to be to the said Algernon Hurley, his executors, administrators and assigns forever And I the said Henry C. Elbert, for myself, my heirs, executors and administrators all singular the said goods, household stuff and furniture and other the Premises unto the said Algernon Hurley, his executors, administrators & Assigns against me the said Henry C.
