jointly and severally firmly by these presents   Sealed with our seals and dated
this 15 day of June 1843   The Condition of the above obligation is such that if the
above bounden Zebulon Booze shall well and truly execute the office of Constable of
Election Dystrict no 6 in all things appertaining thereto & shall also well and truly
account for all moneys placed in his hands for collection and shall also well and
truly pay all sums of money received by him then the obligation to be void otherwise
of full force and virtue in law

Dorchester County      On the 15th day of June 1843 personally appeared before
          to wit                me the subscriber a Justice of the Peace in and for the
County aforesaid    Robert Willey and Jonathan Paul and made the following
oath to wit "We Robert Willey and Jonathan Paul subscribing witnesses
to the above bond do make oath that Zebulon Booze Hugh Wingate
                 his
and James  +  Procter obligors mentioned in the said bond did severally
              mark  
in our presence sign seal and deliver the said bond as their act and deed
for the purposes therein mentioned."   Sworn before me on the day above
mentioned                                                   Richard Pattison

Hooper C. Hicks      Be it remembered that the following Bill of sale was
Ex.d      from            recorded 31st June 1843 to wit      This Indenture
John H. Carroll         made this 19th day of June  In the year of our Lord
Eighteen Hundred & forty three between John H Carroll of the one part and
Hooper C Hicks of the other part whereas the said John H Carroll owes and
stands justly indebted to said Hooper C Hicks in the sum of Four Hundred
Dollars Current Money and to secure the payment thereof is willing to
execute these presents  Now this Indenture witnesseth that the said John
H Carroll for and in Consideration of the premises and of the sum of Four
Hundred Dollars current money to him in hand paid by the said
Hooper C Hicks at and before the sealing and delivery of of these presents
the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged hath granted bargained and
sold and by these presents doth grant bargain and sell unto the said Hooper
C Hicks his administrators or assigns all and singular the property herein
after mentioned and expressed that is to say all my crop of wheat and
and straw now Growing all my Oats and straw now growing all my
Corn & fodder now growing on the farm where I reside 1 young Colt
2 calves 1 bay mare got from F Henry 1 do got from Harrisons 15 shoats
8 pigs crop sweet & Irish potatoes now growing Vegetables in garden
