I John G Abbott a Justice of the Peace of the state of Maryland in and for Dorchester County
do hereby certify that John Muir & John Thompson Comss this day appeared before me
and took the following oath we the Subscribers witnesses to the within bond do such that
the obligors mentioned in the said bond did severally in our presence sign seal and deliver
Given under my hand & seal this 17 day of april

Bond State of Maryland      Be it remembered that the following Bond was recorded
Ex.d         from                    17th april 1843 to wit   Know all men by these That we
William R Tall                      William R Tall John T Stewart and Stewart Geoghegan
John T. Stewart &               of Dorchester County in the state of Maryland are held
Stewart Geoghegan              and firmly bound unto the state of maryland in the
full and just sum of Two thousand dollars current money of the United States
to be paid to the said state or its certain attorney to the which payment well and
truly to be made and done we bind ourselves our heirs executors and administrators
jointly and severally firmly by these presents sealed with our seals and dated
this 17th day of april AD 1843   The Condition of the above obligators is such
That if the above bounden William R Tall shall well and truly execute the office
of Constable of Election District number four in all things appertaining thereto
and shall also well and truly account for all monies placed in his hands
for Collection and shall also well and truly pay all sums of money received
by him then the above obligation to be void otherwise to be of full force and virtue
in law

Dorchester County to wit                                       On the 17th day of April 1843

Tall                                                   obligors mentioned in the said bond

act and deed for the purposes therein mentioned sworn before me on the
