Article - Health Occupations

14-501.

(a) (5) "The Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems"
means the State [emergency services program] AGENCY described in [§ 13-103(c)] §
13-1D-03 of the Education Article.

14-503.

(a) In this section, "the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services
Systems" means the State [emergency services program] AGENCY described in [§
13-103(c)] § 13-1D-03 of the Education Article.

14-504.

(a)     In this section, "the Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services
Systems" means the State [emergency services program] AGENCY described in [§
13-103(c)] § 13-1D-03 of the Education Article.

Article - Transportation

13-955.

(e) The money in the Fund shall be used solely for:

(1)     Medically oriented functions of the State Police, Special Operations
Bureau, Aviation Division;

(2)     The [Emergency Medical Services Field Operations Division of the]
Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems;

(3)     The [Maryland Institute for Emergency Medical Services Systems] R. R
ADAMS COWLEY Shock Trauma [Unit] CENTER at the University of Maryland Medical
System;

(4)     The Maryland Fire and Rescue Institute; and

(5)     The provision of grants under the State Fire, Rescue, and Ambulance
Fund in accordance with the provisions of Article 38A, §§ 45A through 45D of the Code.

23-103.

(b)     The license authorizes the facility to:

(1)     Inspect a used vehicle on request of its transferor or transferee and
attach an inspection certificate to the vehicle;

(2)     Inspect the equipment of a vehicle for which a safety equipment repair
order has been issued and issue a repair order certification for the vehicle; and

(3)     Inspect an ambulance on the request of its owner that is required to be
inspected under [§ 13-103.1] § 13-1D-15 of the Education Article.
