(B) THE GOVERNING BODY OF CECIL COUNTY AND OF A MUNICIPAL
CORPORATION IN CECIL COUNTY MAY GRANT, BY LAW, A PROPERTY TAX CREDIT
UNDER THIS SECTION AGAINST THE COUNTY AND MUNICIPAL CORPORATION
PROPERTY TAX IMPOSED ON PROPERTY THAT IS OWNED BY THE UPPER
CHESAPEAKE WATERSHED ASSOCIATION AND IS USED:

(1)      TO ASSIST IN THE PRESERVATION OF A WILD NATURE AREA;

(2)      TO ESTABLISH A NATURE RESERVE OR OTHER PROTECTED AREA;
OR

(3)      GENERALLY TO PROMOTE CONSERVATION.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
July 1, 1994 and shall be applicable to all taxable years beginning after June 30, 1994.

AN ACT concerning

Vehicle Laws - Tow Trucks - Motor Carrier Numbers

FOR the purpose of clarifying that a person who registers a tow truck under a certain
provision of law is required to provide certain federal motor carrier identification
numbers only if the numbers are applicable to the tow truck under federal
requirements; making this Act an emergency measure; and generally relating to the
registration of tow trucks.
