STATE ADMINISTRATIVE BOARD OF ELECTION LAWS

ANNAPOLIS, MARYLAND

Pursuant to the provisions of Section 23-11 of Article 33 of the Annotated Code of
Maryland, the State Administrative Board of Election Laws does hereby certify that at
the General Election held in the Garrett County on November 3, 1992, an Act known as
Chapter 608 of the Acts of 1992 (House Bill 1283, Question A) was submitted to the
voters of Garrett County in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 608 of the Acts of
1992, said Act being as follows:

AN ACT concerning

Garrett County - Alcoholic Beverages

(Sunday Sales)

FOR the purpose of permitting certain classes of alcoholic beverages licensees in Garrett
County to sell alcoholic beverages on Sundays under certain circumstances and
upon payment of an additional fee; and submitting this measure to a referendum in
Garrett County at a certain time.

And it is hereby certified that at said election, 3,994 votes were cast for the adoption
of said Chapter 608 and 5,146 votes were cast against the adoption of said Chapter 608,
the said Chapter 608 of the Acts of 1992 has therefore failed ratification.
