(e) A vehicle registered under this section may not be used in any manner other
than as a farm trailer or semitrailer.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall take effect
October 1, 1993.

AN ACT concerning

Higher Education - Sexual Assault Policy

FOR the purpose of requiring the governing board of each institution of higher education
in the State, by a certain date, to adopt and submit to the Maryland Higher
Education Commission a written policy on sexual assault; requiring each institution
to implement, distribute, and post the policy; establishing certain requirements for
the contents of the policy; requiring, the Commission to coordinate, review, and
make recommendations on the sexual assault policies; providing that there is no
private cause of action to enforce this Act;
providing for the effective date of this Act;
and generally relating to the development and implementation of sexual assault
policies by institutions of higher education in the State.

Section 11-701 to be under the. new subtitle. "Subtitle 7. Sexual Assault Policy"

(1989 Replacement Volume and 1992 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Education

SUBTITLE 7. SEXUAL ASSAULT POLICY

11-701.

(A) (1) BY AUGUST 1, 1994 AUGUST 1, 1993, THE GOVERNING BOARD OF EACH
INSTITUTION OF HIGHER EDUCATION SHALL ADOPT AND SUBMIT TO THE
COMMISSION A WRITTEN POLICY ON SEXUAL ASSAULT.                             

(2) THE POLICY ADOPTED UNDER PARAGRAPH (1) OF THIS SUBSECTION
SHALL APPLY TO EACH STUDENT, FACULTY MEMBER, AND EMPLOYEE OF THE
INSTITUTION AND INFORM THE STUDENTS, FACULTY MEMBERS, AND EMPLOYEES
OF THEIR RIGHTS AND DUTIES UNDER THE POLICY.
