Ch. 3

(3) The Charles County Commissioners shall appoint a
building inspector for the county and such assistant inspectors
as may be required at the salaries fixed in the annual county
budget. The inspectors shall enforce the building code and in
addition shall enforce the rules and regulations adopted by the
commission.

(b) The County Commissioners may provide penalties for
violations of the building code.

[(d)] (C) All farm buildings and all other outbuildings
with a cost less than $2,500.00 shall not be subject to the
provisions of any building [or plumbing] code adopted under this
section.

(a) The following departments, agencies, boards,
commissions, offices, divisions, and units of the State
government shall be included within the Department of Licensing
and Regulation: the State Athletic Commission, the Banking Board,
[the Bank Regulations Board,] the Bank Commissioner, the Board of
Savings and Loan Commissioners, the Division of Savings and Loan
Associations, the State of Maryland Deposit Insurance Fund
Corporation, the Maryland Home Improvement Commission, the
Insurance Division, the Commissioner of Consumer Credit, [the
Maryland State Board of Censors,] the Maryland Racing Commission,
the [Maryland] MARYLAND-BRED Race Fund Advisory Committee, the
State Real Estate Commission, the Real Estate Hearing Board, the
Board of Boiler Rules, the STATE Board of [Barber Examiners]
BARBERS, the State Board of Examining Engineers, [the Board of
Examining Moving Picture Machine Operators,] the State Board of
Master Electricians, the State Board of Plumbing, the [Maryland
Architectural Registration] STATE Board OF ARCHITECTS, the State
Board of Cosmetologists, the STATE Board [of Registration] for
Professional Engineers, the STATE Board [of Registration] for
Professional Land Surveyors, the [Maryland] State Board of Public
Accountancy, the Board of Inspection of Horse Riding Stables, the
STATE Board of [Examiners for Maryland] Pilots, the Division of
Labor and Industry, the Office of Commissioner of Labor and
Industry, the Advisory Council on Prevailing Wage Rates, the
Advisory Committee on the Wage and Hour Law, the Occupational
Health and Safety Advisory Board, the Employment Agency Advisory
Board, the [Maryland] STATE Board of Examiners of Landscape
Architects, the State Board of [Registration for] Foresters, THE
STATE BOARD OF EXAMINERS FOR HEARING AID DEALERS, and such other
agencies, boards, commissions, councils, offices, or units of
government as may hereafter pursuant to law be declared to be
part of the Department of Licensing and Regulation.
