LAWS OF MARYLAND

In subsection (b)(3) of this section, the reference to
an "associate real estate broker, or real estate
salesperson" is substituted for the former words
"dealers and agents" to conform to terminology used in
Title 16 of this article.

In subsection (b)(4) of this section, the term
"construction contractor" is substituted for the
former reference to "persons customarily engaged in
contracting work", for brevity and clarity.

As to representations by the persons listed in
subsection (b) of this section, see § 3-603 of this
title.

SUBTITLE 2. STATE BOARD OF ARCHITECTS.

3-201. ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A STATE BOARD OF ARCHITECTS IN THE DEPARTMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from the second sentence
and the third clause of the first sentence of former
Art. 56, § 465(a).

It is set forth as a separate section for emphasis.

The word "State" is substituted for the former word
"Maryland" to correspond with other board designations
used in this article.

The former reference to a "Registration" Board is
deleted to conform to changes in terminology made
throughout this article. See the General Revisor's
Note to this article.

3-202. MEMBERSHIP.

(A) COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENT OF MEMBERS.

(1)  THE BOARD CONSISTS OF 7 MEMBERS.

(I) 5 SHALL BE LICENSED ARCHITECTS; AND
