(J) PROPERTY LINE SURVEYOR.

"PROPERTY LINE SURVEYOR" MEANS AN INDIVIDUAL WHO PRACTICES
PROPERTY LINE SURVEYING.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This subsection is new language added to
allow concise and consistent reference to an
individual who practices property line surveying,
whether or not qualified to do so.

Former Art. 56, § 330(g), which defined "[p]roperty
line surveyor" as an individual who is qualified and
licensed to practice property line surveying, is
revised, in subsections (g) and (i) of this section,
as the defined terms "licensed property line surveyor"
and "practice property line surveying".

LAND SURVEYORS.

15-201. ESTABLISHED.

THERE IS A STATE BOARD FOR PROFESSIONAL LAND SURVEYORS IN
THE DEPARTMENT.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 56, §
331(a).

It is set forth as a separate section for emphasis.

The former reference to a State Board     "of

Registration" is deleted to conform to changes     in

terminology made throughout this article. See   the
General Revisor's Note to this article.
