RESOLUTION NO. 100

The Mayor and Council hereby resolve to amend the Town
Charter presently on file with the State Department of
Legislative Reference as follows:

A.  The Town Charter currently on file with the Department
of Legislative Reference is hereby repealed in its entirety so
that a new sectional format for the Town Charter can be adopted
and also the necessary substantive amendments;

B.  The Amended Charter shall read as follows:

[Section(s) 7 through 97, of the Charter of the Town of
Betterton, of Kent County, as found in the compilation of
Municipal Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed.

[Section(s) 101 through 1005 of   the Charter of the Town of

Betterton, Kent County, as found in   the compilation of Municipal

Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition),   added.

Effective Date October 28, 1987]

BOONSBORO

(Washington County)

RESOLUTION: CHARTER AMENDMENT

WHEREAS, this resolution of the Mayor and Council of
Boonsboro, Maryland, is adopted pursuant to the authority of
Article 23-A, Section 13 of the Annotated Code of Maryland, to
amend the Charter of the Mayor and Council of Boonsboro as
published in the Municipal Charters in Maryland (1983 edition),
Maryland Department of Legislative Reference, by adding Section
3-63B, entitled "Issuance and Sale of Bonds".

Washington County, as found in the compilation of Municipal
Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition)-, added.

Effective Date January 6, 1988]
