WILLIAM DONALD SCHAEFER, Governor Ch. 366

(1)  That a written examination is required of
applicants for a license in such other state;

(2)  That the appropriate official of such other state
certifies that the applicant holds a currently valid license or
certificate to act as an agent or broker in such other state and
either passed such written examination or was the holder of an
agent's or broker's license or certificate prior to the time such
written examination was required; AND

(3)   [That the applicant has no place of business
within this State in the transaction of business as an agent or
broker; and

(4)] That in such other state, a resident of this
State is privileged to procure an agent's or broker's license or
certificate upon the foregoing conditions.

(d) The references to "state" in this section, other than
to "this State," shall be deemed to include the provinces of
Canada.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1988 July 1, 1989.
