PRESERVATION FUND:
Purchase of Agricultural Land

BALTIMORE CITY DIRECT GRANTS.......

Provided that of the Special Fund
Appropriation stated above,
$2,500,000 of the revenues
appropriated for State projects
and $2,500,000 of the revenues
appropriated for local programs
shall be contingent upon passage
of a bill to amend Tax-Property
Article, § 13-209, to raise to
$29,000,000 the amount of
transfer tax revenues allocated
to Program Open Space, If such a
bill is not. enacted into law,
then $12,000,000 represents the
share of Program Open Space
revenues available for State
projects and $12,000,000
represents the share of Program
Open Space revenues available for
local programs. These amounts may
be used for any State projects or
local shares authorized in
Chapter 403, Laws of Maryland,
1969, as amended; or in Chapter
81, Laws of Maryland, 1984; or in
Chapter 106, Laws of Maryland,
1985; or in Chapter 109, Laws of
Maryland, 1986; and for any of
the following State projects.
