Ch. 311                               LAWS OF MARYLAND

(2) A resident of the county from which the member is
appointed.

(d) Before taking Office, each appointee to the Advisory
Committee shall take the oath required by Article I, § 9, of the
State Constitution.                                

(e) (1) The term of a member is 5, years.

(2)  The terms of members are staggered as required by
the terms provided for members of the Board on July l, 1984.

(3)  At the end of a term, a member continues to serve
until a successor is appointed and qualifies.

(4) A member who is appointed after a term has begun
serves only for the rest of the term and until a successor is
appointed and qualifies.

(f)  The Board of County Commissioners in Somerset and
Worcester counties and the County Council in Wicomico County may
remove a member from their respective county for incompetence or
misconduct.

(g)  The Advisory Committee shall advise and counsel the
Department [of Economic and Community Development] on the
development and operation of the Maryland Lower Eastern. Shore
Tourism Center.

Subtitle [2.] 3. Motion Picture and Television Development Office

and Advisory Council

[13-201.] 4-301.

There is a Motion Picture and Television Development Office
and a Motion Picture and Television Development and Advisory
Council within the Department [of Economic and Community
Development].

[13-202.] 4-302.

(a) The Council consists of 12 members appointed for 2-year
terms as follows:

(1) One is a member of the Senate and is appointed by
the President of the Senate;                                                     

(2)  One is a member of the House of Delegates and is
appointed by the Speaker;                                                         

(3)  Ten are appointed by the Secretary [of Economic
and Community Development] with the approval of the Governor and
the advice and consent of the Senate, and include representatives
