CHAPTER 239

(House Bill 755)

AN ACT concerning

Mental Hygiene Administration -
Crownsville Hospital Center Citizens Advisory Board

FOR the purpose of altering the number of appointed members of
the Citizens Advisory Board for the Crownsville Hospital
Center; altering the number of appointed members that are
required to be residents of Anne Arundel County; repealing
the requirement that an appointed member of the Board be
resident of Baltimore City; requiring that a certain number
of the members of the Board reside in Prince George's
County; altering the term of a member of the Board; and
generally relating to the membership and term of members of
the Citizens Advisory Board for the- Crownsville Hospital
Center.

BY repealing and reenacting, with amendments,

Article - Health - General

Section 10-411(a) (1) (ii) , (b)(3) , and (c)(1) and (2)(iii)

Annotated Code of Maryland

(1982 Volume and 1986 Supplement)

SECTION 1. BE IT ENACTED BY THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY OF
MARYLAND, That the Laws of Maryland read as follows:

Article - Health - General

10-411.

(a) (1) (ii) The Board for the Crownsville Hospital Center
consists of [9] 11 members appointed by the Governor.

(b)  (3) Of the 9 11 members appointed to the Board for
the Crownsville Hospital Center:

(i) [3] 5 6 shall be residents of Anne
Arundel County;

[(ii) 1 shall be a resident of Baltimore
City;]

[(iii)] (II) 1 shall be a resident of
Calvert County;
