RESOLVED, That the Committee be composed of:

(1)  2 members 1 member of the House of Delegates, appointed
by the Speaker of the House, and 2 members 1 member of the Senate
of Maryland, appointed by the President of the Senate; and

(2)  2 representatives 1 representative of the Department of
Education, appointed by the State Superintendent of Schools; and

(3)  2 representatives 1 representative from the Maryland
Association of Agricultural Teachers; and

(4)  2 representatives 1 representative from the Future
Farmers of America; and

(5)  2 5 representatives from the diverse industry of
agriculture with geographical diversity as a prime consideration;
and

(6) 1 representative from the State Council on Vocational
Technical Education; and

(7) 1 representative from the Department of Agriculture;
and

(8) 1 representative from each of the land grant
universities of the State; and

(6) (9) 2 representatives from local education agencies;
and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Governor designate the Chairman of the
Committee; and be it further

RESOLVED, That the Committee report its findings and
recommendations to the Governor by January 1987; and be it

further

RESOLVED, That staff for the Committee be provided by the
Department of Education; and be it further

RESOLVED, That copies of this Resolution be forwarded by the
Department of Legislative Reference to the Honorable Harry
Hughes, Governor of Maryland; the Honorable Melvin A. Steinberg,
President of the Senate of Maryland; and the Honorable Benjamin
L. Cardin, Speaker of the House of Delegates of Maryland; and the
Honorable David Hornbeck, State Superintendent of Schools.
