[19-203.] 11-169. SAME - MEMBERSHIP.
(a) The General Selection Board consists of [four] 4
permanent members and [one] 1 temporary member.
(b) (1) The [four] 4 permanent members of the General
Selection Board are:
(i) [The] THE Secretary OF GENERAL SERVICES, ex
officio, or [his] THE designee OF THE SECRETARY;
(ii) [One] ONE member appointed from the
Department OF GENERAL SERVICES by the Governor on recommendation
of the Secretary OF GENERAL SERVICES, which member serves at the
pleasure of the Governor; and
(iii) [Two] TWO members appointed from the
general public by the Governor, at least one of whom is not an
architect or engineer and each of whom serves a term of 5 years
and until his successor is appointed and qualifies.
(2) On recommendation of the Secretary OF GENERAL
SERVICES, the Governor may appoint an alternate member to serve
in the absence of the regular member appointed under this
subsection from the Department OF GENERAL SERVICES.
(3) The [two] 2 members appointed from the general
public shall be reimbursed for expenses incurred in the
performance of their duties in accordance with the Standard
Travel Regulations and shall be paid such per diem compensation
for their services as may be provided for in the budget.
(c) The head of the using authority that is presenting a
request to the General Selection Board shall be a temporary
member of the General Selection Board. The temporary member
serves only for the purposes of considering and acting on the
request of the using authority by which he is appointed.
[19-204.] 11-170. SAME - REMOVAL, VACANCIES, CONFLICTS OF
INTEREST.
(a) The members of the General Selection Board may be
removed by the Governor for misconduct, incompetency, neglect of
duty, or other sufficient cause.
(b) A permanent member appointed to fill a vacancy in an
unexpired term serves only for the remainder of that term.
(c) A member of the General Selection Board may not
participate in any matter before the General Selection Board in
which:
(1) [The] THE member has an interest; or
