(a) A bailiff shall receive the compensation provided in
this section. Unless otherwise provided, the amount is a per
diem sum for each day he attends the circuit court.

(1) Allegany County—[$5] AS SET BY THE COURT AND
APPROVED BY THE COUNTY GOVERNMENT.

SECTION 2. AND BE IT FURTHER ENACTED, That this Act shall
take effect July 1, 1986.

AN ACT concerning

Charles County - Sheriff's Department Pension Plan

FOR the purpose of authorizing the County Commissioners of
Charles County to modify the current retirement plan for the
Charles County Sheriff's department; establishing a new
pension plan for the Sheriff's department which may include
the Sheriff and sworn employees of the Sheriff's department
who are actively engaged in law enforcement; providing that
this plan will allow for early retirement after a certain
number of years of active service; and generally relating to
the Sheriff's department retirement plan in Charles County.
