    And whereupon the Same Richd. Tilghman by James Earle his
   Attorney Says that whereas the afd. Walter King the twenty Second
   day of February Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and
   fourteen at Chester town in Kent County afd. and within the Juris=
  :diction of this Court by his Certain bill Obligatory with the Seal of
   him the Said Walter Sealed Acknowledged himself to owe & Stand
   Indebted to the afd. Ricahrd in the afd. Sum of five pounds four Shillings
   and nine pence Sterg. money afd. to be paid to the Same Richard on or
   before the tenth day of March next Ensueing the afd. twenty Second day
   of February Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and fourteen
   afd. and for the performance thereof the afd. Walter did bind himself
   his heirs Execrs and Adminrs. firmly by the Same bill   nevertheless
   the afd. Walter altho’ often requested the afd. Sum of five pounds
   four Shillings and nine pence Sterg. money afd. to the afd. Richard
   Tilghman hath not paid but the Same to him to pay hath refused
   and as yet doth refuse to the damage of the Sd Richd. ten pounds
   nine Shillings and Six pence Sterg. money afd. & therefore he brings
   this Sute &c   and also brings into Court the bill obligatory afd. whose
   date is the day and year first above written which testifyeth the Debt

   And the add Pltff by his Attorney afd. prays that the Deft. afd. to his Decln
   afd may Answer the Sd Deft. being Called Came and the Sd. Pltff. by his
   Attorney afd. prays that the Sd Deft. may give Special Baile to the afd.
   Action which was Granted and that he be kept in Safe Custody by the
   Sheriff of Said County untill he Shall give Special baile to the afd.

   afd. Action   And the Said Deft. Sayth that he Cannot gainsay the
   Action afd. of him the Said Pltff. nor but that the writing Obligatory
   above mentioned in his Act and deed and that he oweth unto the Said
   Pltff. the aforesd Sum of five pounds four Shillings and nine pence
   Sterg. money of Great Brittaine and is willing that Judgement
   Should be entred for the Same   and Cost thereon Acrewing . Therefore
   it is Considered by the Court here viz this twentieth day of March
   Anno Domini one thousand Seven hundred and Seventeen That
   the afd. Pltff. Richard Tilghman do recover against the afd. Defendt.
   Walter King as well the afd. Sum of five pounds four Shillings and nine
   pence Sterg. money of Great Brittaine   Debt. as also the Sum of three
   hundred and four pounds of Tobacco Cost by the afd. Pltff. about his
   Sute in this behalf Expended and by the Court hereof his Assent—
   adjudged And the Said Deft. in Mercy &c

   that you take the body of Peter Green of Kent County afd. planter if
   he Should if he Should be found in your Bailywick and him Safe keep So that
   you have his body before the Justices of our next County Court to be held at our
   Court house in the town of Chester in Said County on the third tuesday in
   March next to Satisfy unto Peter Walker as well the Sum of Six hundred ninety
