                Att A Court held for Kent County at the Court house in the [Town]
   of Chester in Said [County] on the [first] day of June and [Continued the Second Third]
   & fourth day of the Same month in the Thirteenth Year of the Reigne [of our]
   Sovereigne Lady Anne By the Grace of God of Great Brittain Ffrance and [Ireland]
   Queen Defender of the Ffaith &ca. In the Year of our Lord Christ one Thous[and]
   Seven hundred and Ffourteen Before

   Mr William Frisby of this County being by a Commission (from the
   Honrable Edward Loyd Esq.r Precident of ye Province of Maryland) for to be
   high Sherrife of Sd County And A Dedimus [Directed] to Capt Edward Scott
   Cap.t William Pott. to Administer ye Oaths appointed &ca as also the Oath
   of high Sherrife & they haveing taken bond for ye true performance of-
   his office .&ca.    The Said Commõn is in - Open Court Read as also [his]
   Posse Comminatus.
   Cap.t Edward Scott & Mr. Michael Miller they both take their places & [illegible]
   Mr William Frisby   high Sherrife of Said County Prays this Court here,
   that Mr. Charles Hynson   may be Sworn his under Sherrife The Same Charles
   Hynson Comes into Court^& takesthe Oaths of Allegiance & Supremacy the Oath of
   Adjuration as also the Oath of an Undersherrife -
   The Same Prays that James Frisby may be Sworn his under Sherrife which—
   is also granted. The Same James Frisby Comes into Court & takes the Oaths of -
   Allegiance & Supremacy the Oath of Adjuration as also the Oath of an Undersherrife
                The Sherrife of this County makes return of the veniry of the orph[ans]
   Jury   And The Jurors thereon Endorsed who being Called Likewise Came vizt.
