(B) GEOGRAPHIC REPRESENTATION.

(1)  AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, THE 4 SENATORS APPOINTED BY
THE PRESIDENT SHALL BE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE VARIOUS SECTIONS AND
INTERESTS OF THE STATE.

(2)  AS FAR AS POSSIBLE, THE 3 DELEGATES APPOINTED BY
THE SPEAKER SHALL BE REPRESENTATIVE OF THE VARIOUS SECTIONS AND
INTERESTS OF THE STATE.

REVISOR'S NOTE: This section is new language derived
without substantive change from former Art. 40, §
27(a), except for the first clause of that subsection.

In subsection (a) of this section, the reference to a
"Majority Leader" is substituted for the former
references such as "floor leader of the majority
party" and "majority floor leade[r]", to standardize
the references to these officers.

Similarly, the reference to a "Minority Leader" is
used to standardize the references to these officers.
