AN AMENDED BILL ENTITLED

"BIDS AND CONTRACTS"

AN ACT to add a new Section 52-d to the Code of Public Local
Laws of Allegany County (1963 Edition and 1973 Supplement, being
Article I of the Code of Public Local Laws of Maryland) titled
"Allegany County" and subtitled "Bids and Contracts" to establish
certain preference in competitive bidding to resident county
firms under certain conditions, to read as follows:

"MANUFACTURER'S TAX EXEMPTION: NEW AND ESTABLISHED INDUSTRIES"

AN ACT, to repeal Section 82 of the Code of Public Local
Laws of Allegany County, Maryland (1963 Edition and 1973
Supplement, being Article I of the Code of Public Laws of
Maryland), titled "Allegany County", subtitled "Manufacturer's
Tax Exemption: New and Established Industries".

Effective Date August 19, 1983.

KENT COUNTY

EMERGENCY BILL NO. 1-83

AN ACT to repeal and re-enact with amendments Chapter 2
"Animals", Article I. "Dog Control Ordinance", Section 2-3 (c)
"Licensing" of the Code of Public Local Laws of Kent County,
Maryland, to delete therefrom the penalty for late application
for a license.

Effective Date June 7, 1983.
