RESOLUTION of the Mayor and City Council of Cumberland,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority contained in Article
11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland?, entitled
"Municipal Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter
423 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND THE CHARTER OF THE CITY OF
CUMBERLAND, MARYLAND (1966 EDITION), BY REPEALING AND REENACTING,
WITH AMENDMENTS, SECTION 118 PROVIDING FOR THE FIXING OF THE TAX
RATE FOR CITY TAXES, THE DATE WHEN SUCH TAXES ARE DUE AND
PAYABLE, THE DATE WHEN SUCH TAXES ARE OVERDUE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE MAYOR AND CITY COUNCIL TO REQUIRE PAYMENT OF INTEREST AND
PENALTY CHARGES FOR LATE PAYMENT."
[Section 118 of the Charter of the City of Cumberland,
Allegany County, repealed and reenacted, with amendments.

RESOLUTION NO. 89
RESOLUTION of the Mayor and the City Council of Cumberland,
Maryland, adopted pursuant to the authority contained in Article
11-E of the Constitution of the State of Maryland, and Section 13
of Article 23A of the Annotated Code of Maryland, entitled
"Municipal Corporations", as said Section was enacted by Chapter
423 of the Acts of the General Assembly of Maryland, 1955,
entitled "A RESOLUTION TO AMEND SUB-SECTION (b) OF SECTION 81 OF
THE CHAPTER OF THE CITY OF CUMBERLAND (1966 EDITION), BEING
ARTICLE 1A OF THE CODE OF PUBLIC LOCAL LAWS OF MARYLAND, WHICH
PROVIDES FOR THE LEVY AND COLLECTION OF A TAX ON THE ASSESSABLE
PROPERTY OF SAID CITY."

Charters of Maryland (1983 Edition), repealed and reenacted, with
amendments.
